We partake in communion service at the end of our usual worship service. At the end of the sermon, we break into rooms for men and women and share the ordinance of humility. In this tradition, we remember how Jesus Christ took the role of servant with his disciples to teach them the importance of serving one another and those in need. We then come back together to partake in the bread and juice. Christ told us to “Do this in remembrance of me”, and this is exactly what we do. We break bread together to remember His body, which was broken for us. We drink from the fruit of the vine to remember His blood that was spilled for us to put us under the new covenant. We then share a potluck meal.
